Dior Holiday 2025: Gold, Magic, and the Essence of Beauty

I have to admit, when Christmas approaches, the same thing always happens to me: I start paying extra attention to all the special makeup collections. I love this time of year, when brands allow themselves to dream a little more, to play with shimmer, color, and fantasy. For years, I’ve been observing, comparing, and saving images. But, in the end, there’s always one name that stays with me: Dior Beauty.

I suppose it has something to do with childhood. For me, Dior was never just a brand, it was an idea. A closet that didn’t exist but that I imagined filled with perfumes, lipsticks, and impossible beauty treasures. It reminds me of The Princess Diaries, when the protagonist transforms in front of the mirror and suddenly everything changes, or Cinderella, with that moment when a little magic turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. Dior has always felt a bit like that to me: magic you can’t see, but can definitely feel.

Today, 28 years later, writing about Dior and all it’s bringing this Christmas feels like coming full circle. Not from nostalgia, but from the place where you understand that beauty can accompany you, mark moments, and stay with you. Because, in the end, Dior has always been that: a way to believe, even just a little, in magic.

L’OR DE J’ADORE: THE LIVING GOLD OF PERFUME

And this magic comes to life more than ever this season in J’adore, the fragrance that is nearly iconic for the Maison. A perfume that is more than just a beautiful scent: it’s a statement, a gesture, a declaration of femininity and luxury.

Facing it, Francis Kurkdjian didn’t reinterpret a classic; he dove into its soul. Following Christian Dior’s maxim,“respect the tradition and dare with audacity”, he went to the heart of its floral bouquet to extract its purest essence.

Thus was born L’Or de J’adore, a quintessence of carnal rose and powerful jasmine that glides over the skin like warm, luminous liquid gold. It doesn’t smell like many flowers: it captures the sensation of a single, perfect, symbolic bloom, the embodiment of the Dior spirit. A perfume that envelops, embraces, and leaves a generous, sensual, and unforgettable trail.

DIOR SPECTACULAR: HOLIDAY COLLECTION 2025

After the magic of L’Or de J’adore, Dior invites us to experience another kind of spectacle: the Holiday 2025 makeup collection, under the enchanting theme of the “Circus of Dreams”. Peter Philips, Dior Makeup’s Creative and Image Director, turns this season into a fantasy parade where every product shines as if under a brilliantly lit circus tent.

The compacts are dressed in gold, stars appear as poetic touches, and colors dazzle from the first glance. Every detail is designed to surprise, play, and, at the same time, maintain the Maison’s innate elegance.

At center stage, Diorshow 5 Couleurs is presented in two limited-edition palettes:

  • 912 Plum Parade: deep plums, pearly white, and rich brown with violet reflections for an elegant, magnetic gaze.
  • 636 Fiery Circus: sparkling golds, bright oranges, and a striking red that lights up the eyes.

The creamy, lightweight, and blendable textures allow for looks from subtle to dramatic, depending on the night. Dior turns makeup into a spectacle, yet always with impeccable style.

ROUGE DIOR: THE SMILE THAT TAKES CENTER STAGE

Amid all the sparkle, Rouge Dior becomes one of the true stars of the season. Its fully golden case, including the iconic CD ring, is adorned with stars that evoke circus magic and holiday fantasy.

A lipstick that transforms the simplest gesture into a magical moment, the smile that steps into the spotlight and captures all eyes.

DIOR CAPTURE: THE SCIENCE BEHIND BEAUTY

Beyond shimmer and fantasy, Dior proves that beauty can also be science. With over 650 researchers, Dior Capture leads advanced cosmetic innovation, studying the 12 markers of aging recognized by the scientific community.

In 2025, Dior Capture takes a decisive step inspired by regenerative medicine, focusing on the eye contour area—the first to lose collagen. From this come the high-performance Shots: Hyalushot, Retishot, and the innovative Pro-Collagen Shot, which for the first time integrates a fragment of next-generation recombinant collagen combined with the OX-C Treatment.

The result is a firmer, lifted, and luminous eye contour. Invisible science that you feel, but don’t see: pure luxury for the skin, capable of accompanying you beyond the holidays, all year long.
