Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2024: The World Summit of Electronic Music Returns with Over 1000 Events and 3000 Artists

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s leading platform for electronic music, returns this year with a lineup that promises to exceed all expectations. With over 3000 artists and 600 speakers, ADE 2024 once again positions itself as the largest and most influential event of its kind, establishing itself as a benchmark in the industry. Over the course of five days and five nights, Amsterdam will become the epicenter of electronic music, hosting more than 1000 events spread across 200 venues throughout the city.

A Global Festival

This unique event attracts visitors from more than 150 countries, offering a dynamic mix of conferences, art and culture, live music, and DJ performances. From October 16 to 20, Amsterdam will pulse to the beat of electronic music in all its forms.

ADE is known for its ability to innovate and expand its offerings each year, and 2024 is no exception. This year, the festival will kick off with five simultaneous opening concerts on Wednesday, October 16, showcasing a fusion of musical genres and artistic experiences. Dutch artist Eefje de Visser will perform an acoustic set in the atrium of the Van Gogh Museum, while Nick Verstand & the Cello Octet Amsterdam will present an innovative audiovisual live show at DOOR OPEN SPACE.

Other highlights include a special collaboration at BIMHUIS between legendary free jazz singer Greetje Bijma and experimental artist Oceanic, as well as a tribute at Melkweg to iconic producer J Dilla, performed by the Metropole Orkest under the direction of Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.

ADE Pro: The Business Hub of Electronic Music

The event isn’t just about music but also focuses on the professional aspects of the industry. ADE Pro, taking place from October 16 to 19, is the key annual conference for industry professionals. Over four days, experts will discuss crucial topics such as sustainability, marketing, mental health, and business opportunities, providing attendees with the chance to expand their networks and close deals in ADE’s vibrant environment.

A Wide Range of Programs: ADE Lab, Arts & Culture, and More

ADE continues its mission of fostering the next generation of artists and professionals with initiatives such as ADE Lab, an educational space designed for emerging DJs, creators, and producers. At the same time, ADE Arts & Culturecontinues to explore the intersection of electronic music and other art forms, offering attendees a unique perspective on how night music positively influences culture and individuals.Another highly anticipated program is ADE Beats, the international conference dedicated to hip-hop, bass, and beats, taking place on October 19. With a packed agenda of networking sessions, music talks, and masterclasses, this event brings together top professionals to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the global music
