BILBAO BBK LIVE FESTIVAL: A LINE-UP THAT UNDERSTAND THE DIVERSITY OF MUSIC

Bilbao BBK Live has revealed its full line-up for the upcoming edition, where exciting presentations of rising artists are being mixed with rock and alternative music. In an environment fueled by the power of nature we are going to present magic through the days 10th, 11th and 12th of July.

Opening the festival with fresh and captivating energy we have an arrangement of artists that are going to establish the level that this edition contains. From the international alternative offerings like PULP, Michael Kiwanuka and Japanese Breakfast performances to upcoming national artists like Judeline with her album debut “Bodhiria”, Hinds with their album “VIVA HINDS” and Pablopablo with his debut album as well. However, the most exciting moment of the day is going to be the Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso performance where we expect to have fun and discover a visual experience with their latest album “PAPOTA” and after winning the hearts of all the people who saw their Tiny Desk Concert.

On the 11th, we are going to enjoy the unique voice of RAYE, who is going to present her album “My 21st Century Blues” live in Spain for the first time. We would like to hear “Born Again”, “Prada” and “You Don’t Know Me”, singles that have defined her career in music over the years. On the other side, we are going to have the possibility to experience Bad Gyal’s album “La Joia” and Amaia’s album “Si Abro Los Ojos No Es Real” in real life; while Rusowsky, Abhir and Julieta entertain us with their latest singles.

Last day is going to be an energizing experience. Kylie Minogue is presenting her TENSION tour that we expect to be one of the religious experiences that only pop music can bring to people. On the other hand, we could find vibrant performances by Damiano David and Nathy Peluso. Carolina Durante would present “Elige Tu Propia Aventura” representing the indie rock scene of Spain. Afterwards, The Blessed Madonna is presenting her latest project “We Still Believe” and L’Imperatrice would present their Pulsar Tour.

Although the festival hosts up to 12 stages, we can say that one of the more exciting ones is GORRIA where each day we are going to find the epicenter of inexhaustible energy, bringing the upcoming nightclub scene in Spain to a wider audience. A space of absolute freedom where electronic music reigns. Nítido opens the first day with its global heritage sound archive with Manuka Honey and Merca Bae as its ambassadors. On Friday night, we would find JUGO3000, a proposition by Drummie, Kinara and Nusar3000 with the intention of blurring boundaries and reinventing dance. EN1GMA would close the edition by taking us into a trip of gabber, hard-techno, acid and nightcore; with a queer and diverse lense thanks to the work of Fucknormal, Mina Galán and OLVIDO.

We cannot wait to enjoy the landscape that this festival offers us, while enjoying our favourite music in the middle of the summer. Bilbao, see you soon!
