Brunch Electronik Barcelona Announces an Explosive Spring Season 2024

The leading nomadic electronic music festival in Spain, Brunch Electronik Barcelona, has enthusiastically announced the exciting dates for its spring season in the vibrant city of Barcelona. This event, which has expanded its brand worldwide, takes pride in its ongoing commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and the safety of the local community. With four unmissable events, it promises to offer unique experiences for electronic music lovers and their Brunchers.

The spring season will kick off on April 14th with an explosion of energy at the Main Stage of Poble Espanyol with the highly anticipated ‘All day long’ by Hernan Cattaneo, a living legend of the global electronic scene. This event will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of 2024 for the Argentine community residing in Barcelona, which boasts a vast number of declared fans of the artist. Meanwhile, in the Upload Room, the local collective Sinergia Music will take control with an impressive lineup including international artist Dj Ruby, Chustek, an exciting b2b by Edu Reimer and Kelo AR, and the talented local artist Brizas.

The spring party continues on April 28th at the Outdoor Area of Westfield La Maquinista, where attendees will be taken on a sonic journey by the renowned Luciano, accompanied by Korolova, Mëstiza, a national phenomenon, and local talent Rivellino. The ‘boiler room’ format will offer an explosive experience with a circular stage surrounded by the audience, a local market, and gastronomic options for all tastes.

On May 12th, we meet again at Poble Espanyol with Purple Disco Machine, the B2B of artists Cassy and Cici, and the selection of Italian artist residing in Barcelona Klara Missyle. In the Upload Room, the local collective Mad Radio promises an unforgettable experience with Junki Inoue, the tremendous set assured by the founder of the label Erlin James, and Barcelona-based resident artist Inku.

To close the spring season with a flourish, Brunch Electronik returns to La Maquinista on May 26th with a stellar event headlined by veteran English producer and DJ Four Tet, who has collaborated with Fred Again and Skrillex, alongside Canadian producer Daphni, also known under aliases Caribou, Elkka, and Mutual Trust, representing the best of the electronic scene in a memorable Non-stop afternoon.

Additionally, the festival reintroduces the «Petit Brunch»: a space dedicated to families and children from 0 to 12 years old, with activities and workshops designed to encourage play and creativity that will be available at all four dates of the spring season. They offer a wide range of outdoor activities and workshops for the little ones, ensuring that the whole family can enjoy the music and gastronomy of the festival.

The organization takes pride in reaffirming its commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and community safety. Since its inception, Brunch Electronik has maintained a close collaboration with the local community and actively commits to caring for the environment and reducing, reusing, and transforming all generated waste, with the aim of minimizing its footprint and being a zero-waste festival. The celebration is distinguished by its commitment to sexual freedom, respect, diversity, and inclusivity.

In line with these values, Brunch Electronik adheres to the ‘NO CALLEM’ protocol of the Barcelona City Council to address macho violence, specifically sexual violence and LGTBIfobia. The festival has sensitized and trained personnel on harassment and sexual assault, in addition to focusing on the emotional well-being of all attendees at its events.
