Brunch Electronik Festival 2024

The Brunch Electronik Festival 2024, one of the most anticipated events of the summer, will be held from August 9 to 11. Today, more details about the festival were revealed during a press conference at the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm. Founders Loïc Le Joliff, François Jozic, and Laura Gonzalez Corada, head of the Sponsorship team, participated in the event, promising a weekend full of music at three iconic locations: Parc del Fòrum, Jardins de Joan Brossa, and Nitsa Club.

On Friday and Saturday, Parc del Fòrum will host the best international DJs and bands, while on Sunday, Black Coffee will close the festival at Jardins de Joan Brossa in front of more than 9,000 people. The nights will continue with official afterparties at Nitsa Club. The Brunch Electronik Festival 2024 lineup includes over 90 artists reflecting current trends in electronic dance music, featuring classics, contemporary stars, rising figures, and new promises, as well as local talents. Highlights include 32 female artists and 29 from the national and local scene.

Artists like Black Coffee, Boris Brejcha, Fatboy Slim, The Blaze, and Hernan Cattaneo, who will perform a unique four-hand set with renowned German DJ and producer Dixon, will headline the festival. This is undoubtedly the largest and most diverse Brunch, encompassing all musical styles present at our events throughout the year, allowing for a large stage dedicated to live shows.

Loïc Le Joliff, one of the founders, commented: “The lineup reflects current trends and different genres. The Brunch Electronik Festival is like our treat of the year because we can showcase all styles: techno, house, disco, indie… It’s a festival that lets people dance. You don’t often see such a diverse lineup, yet with such coherence.”

Furthermore, the festival emphasizes social and environmental actions to promote respect for the environment and society. Therefore, this year’s edition continues initiatives that Brunch deeply cares about:

  • Environmental Commitment: Initiatives will be implemented to minimize waste and promote circularity, including the use of recyclable materials in decoration and efficient waste management. B! HUB will be the space to present and showcase ecological initiatives.
  • Free Celebration: A certification will be established to ensure all collaborators align with the policy of a kind, free, safe, and respectful celebration, ready to act according to the No Callem protocol and the “Safe Space.”
  • Renewable Fuel: Brunch Electronik Festival partners with Repsol to reduce CO2 emissions, avoiding the emission of over 9 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere by supplying over 3,000 liters of 100% renewable fuel.
  • Social Inclusion: Up to 10% of the staff will be hired from people at risk of social exclusion, supporting their professional development and social inclusion.
  • Sports and Music: A new format with Warm Up sessions will be introduced at the Harmonik Stage on Saturday mornings, featuring 3 sports classes: Yoga, Pilates Hit, and Cross Training, in collaboration with Limited Edition Athletes and Nike.
  • LGTBIQ+ and Feminism Stand: A prevention stand will provide relevant information on diversity, equality, and consumption habits. The Safe Space will also be present to address situations needing psychosocial support.
  • Sustainable Mobility: Yamaha will be a sustainable mobility partner, offering electric models for the festival’s workers and attendees.

As François Jozic, one of the founders, highlighted, “Our motto is joy and commitment. Brunch is very friendly, it’s the festival of good practices. You can bring food, there are water fountains… At Brunch, there are no queues at the bars or restrooms… Thanks to a significant investment in staff and infrastructure.”
