Cruïlla festival 2024

Avril Lavigne and The Smashing Pumpkins headline the lineup of the Cruïlla Festival 2024 in Barcelona.

The highly anticipated Cruïlla Festival, illuminating the Barcelona music scene, has unveiled the first headliners for its 2024 edition. Avril Lavigne and The Smashing Pumpkins will lead the impressive roster of artists performing at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona from July 10 to 13.

The event, renowned for its eclectic mix of international and national talent, has already revealed some surprises, including confirmed performances by The Tyets and Oques Grasses. These are just the initial hints of a lineup that promises more excitement and names to be announced in the coming months.

New additions to the lineup include Amaral, the Argentine phenomenon Trueno, Funzo & Baby Loud, Shinova presenting new material, German vocalist of Seeed, Peter Fox, Albert Pla & The Surprise Band, and Figa Flawas. They join the growing list alongside Oques Grasses and The Tyets.

Avril Lavigne, returning to Barcelona two decades after her last visit, will perform on July 12, while The Smashing Pumpkins will take the stage on July 13. Although the lineup still holds undisclosed secrets, tickets and passes are already available for purchase on the festival’s official website, allowing fans to secure their spot at this thrilling musical event.

With the year coming to an end, music festivals for the upcoming summer are starting to reveal their cards. NOS Alive in Portugal has already announced Dua Lipa as a headliner, and in Spain, the Cruïlla Festival stands out by presenting artists of the caliber of Avril Lavigne, Amaral, and The Smashing Pumpkins.

The Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, overlooking the sea, will once again be the venue for this spectacle that combines music, comedy, and the arts. Last year, 76,000 people enjoyed over fifty artists on five different stages, covering genres from urban to rock, and featuring comedy and artistic performances for the whole family.
