Jacquemus Marks 15th Anniversary with Spectacular Show at Casa Malaparte in Capri

Renowned fashion brand Jacquemus is gearing up to celebrate its 15th anniversary in grand style on the enchanting island of Capri this summer. The visionary behind the brand, Simon Porte Jacquemus, has chosen the iconic Italian villa Casa Malaparte as the backdrop for the unveiling of the exclusive commemorative collection.

Casa Malaparte, a picturesque cliffside retreat with a rich history, serves as a significant source of inspiration for Jacquemus. Originally gaining fame in Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 film «Contempt,» the villa played a pivotal role in the designer’s decision to launch his label.

Reflecting on his journey, Jacquemus shared on Instagram, “I decided to create my brand after watching Le Mépris (Contempt) from Jean-Luc Godard, being inspired by the beauty and modernity of his vision. Today I feel honored to be able to present our next show in Casa Malaparte.” The villa, now a symbol of high fashion and artistic expression, has previously hosted fashion campaigns and notable personalities like Karl Lagerfeld.

This event marks a historic moment as Casa Malaparte opens its doors to a fashion show for the first time. Jacquemus will showcase the highly anticipated anniversary collection on June 10, promising a blend of romanticism and contemporary aesthetics.
