RIVERLAND WARM UP 2026: WHERE URBAN SOUNDS MEET FABRIK

This is the third occasion we can see how the spirit of Spanish urban music finds its place inside the humongous space reserved for techno music each weekend in Madrid. FABRIK is considered the temple of electronic music for lots of people, but it is time to let the lyrics take the center stage and let the public scream, (not just vibe to the music). RIVERLAND, on the other hand, is a music festival and the main exhibitor of underground talent through a curated line-up that each year, since two summers ago, has been perfecting and internationalizing the artist they support. Centering their attention in the youth that want to take part of the industry with flashy and surprising performances, while generating a movement around them (like in the case of mvrk or Disobey). With each edition taking place in Asturias, they have been delivering stronger and bigger shows that have nurtured the creative mind of lots of consumers, betting for up-coming artists to take the main stage and crush it (just like D.Valentino last August).

To warm it up for the summer time, this kind of reunion serves as an appetizer of the energy that is gonna get injected this 2026 to the festival (less known names, but with lots of energy and resources, engaging with a wider audience). Coming from two editions in 2025, that made sure that these events are very profitable for the RIVERLAND brand and to share and expand the range of people they attract (because not everyone has the time to get lost in the descent of the Sella river). They have been cultivating a cult-like way of sharing artists, making space for more women in the industry and making sure that DJs are valued as they should be.

On March 28th, the place is gonna be filled with the latest urban defining voices of Latin culture as a whole. There is no other festival in Spain that values Latin talent and provokes a fan movement as wide as this one. It is an almost 12-hours event, where you can discover the future of urban music in Spanish, while enjoying iconic songs from the genre (thanks to the best DJs in the industry, for the moment). It is intense, but don’t we need some adrenaline from time to time? Don’t we need some space that lets us free from our responsibilities and take us into another dimension?

From the repetitive and direct songs of YYY891 and 8BELIAL, focusing on making concepts that feels like an independent evolution from DISOBEY (the movement that they were part of until the end of last year, that by the way, we can still listen to the vibes that they brought to the scene thanks to their DISOBEY SOUNDSYSTEM). Als, we can step into the Argentinian and Chilean wave of urban artists, thanks to the proposals of ZELL, that explored ambiguity and emotional nuance through ambient and trap songs; FACEBROOKLYN, that fusion global trap aesthetics with a distinctly internet-driven; or EASYKID, that is bringing to live his “I’M PART” album in Spain for the first time, with hits like “AIRBAG” or “Ya entregamos el depa”.

From the underground scene in Spain, we can enjoy the rhythms of SUPERRESERVAO and his “xki music” album and the up-beat vibes of AMORYODIO’s proposal. Bringing the OGs back like ÉBANO, SOTO ASA and BEN YART, while getting excited for a new generation that plays into a new context, where masculinity is less defined, like in the tunes of BIBERON.

But also, I want to highlight the value that providing a proper space for female artists in the industry can affect their careers in such a positive way. And that’s how we are going to see how TK MAMI can surprise us after an interview in RVLND BACKSTAGE where she dissects the fun and quirkiness in her proposal. We are going to experience for the first time in Spain, the sophomore album of TAICHU played live. An amalgamation of hyper-digital, genre-fluid exploration of identity, femininity, and internet culture. I’m just salivating to start jumping to “FREAK MATCH”, “CASTIGO” and “STILETTO”.

But, after all, my most anticipated artist to watch is KRISTINA. Her influence in the Spanish reggaeton is unmatchable, she just released her project, “KRISTINEANDO EDITION”, where she collaborates with the incomparable and loved by all CAME BEATS in the production of every track. We can feel the hunger that she is expressed to give to scenes with raw lyrics like in “GRANADA PRINCESS”, the satisfaction that is to have a hit like “SOY MEJOR” or a collaboration with Raul Clyde with “7VIDAS”. And let’s not forget that she is one of the creator odf the hit of the winter, “LA SACAPUNTAS” so we are not ready to see L0RNA get into that stage and crushing it along her.

To sum up, I just want to highlight the appearance that SNEAKY WH is goin to do with a set full of his own hits (as a producer for MVRK, D.VALENTINO AND CO); the greatness of reggaeton by LUPSI and SKINYZ, or the dark vibe that only LU’DEX can bring to the table. We are trying to get a glimpse into what we are expecting to see in August. See you soon FABRIK, long live RIVERLAND WARM UP!
