Rocanrola 2026 Turns Alicante into Spain’s Hip-Hop Capital
Alicante is set to once again take center stage in Spain’s urban music scene as the Rocanrola Festival returns with its most expansive and daring edition to date. Scheduled for April 30 through May 2, 2026, the event will transform the Multiespacio Rabasa into a hub for rap and hip-hop, drawing thousands of fans for three days packed with energy, creativity, and live performances.
Timed to coincide with the May Day holiday weekend, Rocanrola 2026 promises over 30 hours of live music, featuring more than 100 artists across multiple stages. The festival continues to strengthen its reputation as the country’s leading hip-hop gathering, offering an immersive experience that goes far beyond concerts.
This year’s edition stands out as the only Rocanrola event in 2026, making it a one-off celebration of hip-hop culture. True to its roots, the festival pays tribute to the four pillars of the genre—music, urban art, sport, and emerging talent—bringing them together in a dynamic and inclusive format.
A Landmark Lineup with Exclusive Performances
The 2026 lineup is the strongest in Rocanrola’s history. Headlining the festival are Hijos de la Ruina, the acclaimed trio made up of Natos, Waor, and Recycled J, who return to the stage following the release of their latest project, Hijos de la Ruina Vol. 4. Their performance is expected to be one of the most anticipated moments of the year.
Also making headlines is Kase.O, who will deliver his only performance in Spain throughout 2026 at Rocanrola, turning his appearance into a must-see event for fans.
The lineup brings together some of the most influential names in Spanish hip-hop, including Delaossa, Fernandocosta, Nach, Hoke, Hard GZ, Al Safir, Lia Kali, Arce, Fyahbwoy, Juancho Marqués, Blake, Sho-Hai, Nikone, Bejo, Foyone, Denom, Reality, Dollar Selmouni, Morodo, Miranda, Midas Alonso, Mucho Muchacho, and Nadal 015, among many others.
Special highlights include Ill Pekeño & Ergo Pro, who will appear in one of only three exclusive shows scheduled for 2026, as well as a unique reunion performance by Sharif and Rapsusklei.

Five Stages and a Fully Immersive Experience
The festival grounds will feature five distinct stages. Three main stages will host the core musical programming, including a large tented stage designed to accommodate thousands of attendees in a comfortable and high-quality environment.
In addition, the Living Park will host a dedicated stage focused on hip-hop culture, freestyle, and up-and-coming artists. A separate techno stage will run from Thursday through Saturday, expanding the festival’s musical diversity.
Living Park: Where Urban Culture Comes Alive
Beyond the music, the Living Park will serve as the cultural heartbeat of Rocanrola 2026. Open on Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, this interactive space will showcase the best of street art, urban sports, and hip-hop expression.
Live graffiti sessions will feature a large-scale mural created in real time by artists Albert Bonet, Nacho Mawe, and Dridali, alongside an open mural zone for additional contributors.
The Rocanrola Skate & BMX Jam will bring adrenaline to the festival with a 300-square-meter skate park, where top riders from the Valencian Community will perform high-level tricks and demonstrations.
Basketball will also take center stage with 3×3 games, freestyle showcases, slam dunk exhibitions, and shooting contests open to the public.
Sustainability is another key focus, with Aguas de Alicante hosting a stand where attendees can refill bottles for free while learning about responsible water consumption.
Supporting Emerging Talent
Rocanrola continues to invest in the next generation of artists. In collaboration with the University of Alicante, the festival will host the first InteractUA Rap Contest, offering students the opportunity to perform live on stage.
The Rookies Rocanrola competition has also returned, selecting ten emerging artists from over 200 submissions. Two finalists, chosen by public vote, will perform at the festival, with the overall winner earning a spot on the 2027 main lineup.
Additionally, performers such as Doble0 and Zeballos will take part in this year’s edition.
Freestyle Battles and Community Spirit
Freestyle culture will once again be a major highlight. The second edition of the Batalla de Promesas will feature 40 competitors battling for the top spot, with confirmed participants including Navas, Mr Aaron, Alek, and Belico.
The festival will also host the renowned Red Bull freestyle battles, one of the most prestigious formats on the international scene.
A Growing Community
Rocanrola 2026 reinforces its commitment to urban culture and its ever-expanding community. Over three days, Alicante will pulse with the rhythm of hip-hop, blending music, art, sport, and passion into a one-of-a-kind Mediterranean experience.
Tickets are now available via the festival’s official website, and the event is close to selling out, pointing to what is expected to be a landmark edition in Spain’s hip-hop history.
