Rocanrola Festival

Alicante will be the epicenter of hip-hop culture with the multidisciplinary proposal of the Rocanrola Festival.

The festival will bring together more than 65,000 attendees over three days, from October 5th to 7th, in an event that will pay a major tribute to hip-hop culture in all its forms and artistic expressions, featuring performances by the most prominent artists in the scene.

The Rocanrola Festival will gather over fifty artists from October 5th to 7th, making it the largest rap festival in Spain, with major national figures of the genre such as Natos y Waor, SFDK, Ayax y Prok, Fernandocosta, Delaossa, Mala Rodríguez, Toteking, Nach, Recycled J, Fyahbwoy, El Chojin, Sho-hai, Sharif, Foyone, Hard GZ, ZPU, Langui, Kaze, Shotta, among many others, and the American guest Lil Pump. The venue will feature a large ‘Living-Park’ area dedicated to exploring urban culture in its entirety. Attendees can enjoy top-level urban sports exhibitions, including 3×3 basketball games showcasing street talent, and thrilling skateboarding demonstrations. The Exhibition Plaza will be the place to express the art of movement, from face-to-face breakdance battles in a unique context to urban dance duels that will captivate the audience. In the Urban Art area, artists will have the opportunity to leave their mark on the festival by creating large-scale graffiti murals, Tappe Art for the creation of structures with organic strokes, and Tagging, inviting attendees to leave their signature if they have been part of the Rocanrola festival.

But that’s not all, as Rocanrola City is born, a series of cycles and activities promoted by the Rocanrola Festival that will take place throughout the city of Alicante from September 29th to October 4th and will kick off the celebration of the Rocanrola festival from October 5th to 7th. It will place special emphasis on what has happened and continues to happen in the province of Alicante and the Valencian Community with exhibitions, workshops, literature, live music, and interventions in urban spaces.

For the convenience of attendees, the festival will offer camping and glamping areas, as well as a dining area and other complementary services, to create an immersive experience and encourage interaction among all participants.
