SONORAMA RIBERA 2025: A SYNERGY BETWEEN SPANISH MUSIC AND WINE TOURISM
SONORAMA RIBERA in Aranda de Duero (Burgos) has revealed its line up. An example of how to do a diverse roast of artists without being classist about it, we can find from indie propositions to urban shows, letting the emerging talent shine in a live platform that is getting bigger each year. A celebration of Spanish music, with spaces for artistic displays and community dynamics at Recinto El Picón and city venues, that we are going to witness through the days 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th of August.
Keeping it classic, we are excited to see the “Miami 1990” Tour by Café Quijano; Siloé’s folk‑songwriting roots with dynamic indie-rock and electronic beats; the fresh energy of Miss Caffeina after their brief hiatus; Viva Suecia’s high energy and emotional depth; and the celebration of 20 years in the industry of Pignoise with their balance of nostalgia and renewal across a legacy of pop-rock anthems that defined a generation. In the case of Arde Bogotá, they are going to present “Eclipse”, an immersive show that is going to be played exclusively at the festival. A combination of heightened visuals and dynamic live performance. It is going to reflect the power they have to engage audiences with meaningful emotional and generational narratives; a curated view of his discography.
However, there is room for urban proposals such as the upcoming talent Barry B with his debut album «CHATO», where he explored rock, punk, electronic, hip-hop, and funk, creating a sound that is both eclectic and authentic; and the representation of female trap in Spain, La Zowi, with her latest tour, short but intense, where she presents her latest collaborations and a retrospective to the hits that have positioned herself where she is nowadays, her raw and unapologetic narratives make the crowd go crazy.
From the national rap scene like Nikone, Sara Socas and Fernandocosta performances to upcoming pop artists like Natalia Lacunza with her introspective songwriting presenting her newest single “APEGO FEROZ”; Pablopablo with his intimate and atmospheric debut album “Canciones en Mi” and Zahara with “Lento Ternura”, a shift toward introspection, tenderness, and critical observation of modern life and embodiment.
The rising Spanish star Judeline is also going to be present at the festival, after an impressive Coachella appearance, confirming that she is one of the artist to watch. After a conceptual EP «De la luz», it was mesmerizing to see her collaborate with national and international figures for the creation of her debut album, «Bodhiria», characterized by a unique blend of indie pop, Latin influences, and a strong visual and spiritual aesthetic.
One of the most exciting moments is going to be Amaia’s performance where we expect to have fun and discover the full experience of her latest album “Si Abro Los Ojos No Es Real”. We are ready to jump with «Tocotó», «M.A.P.S.» and «C’est la vie»; presenting her festival tour after a sold-out arena show earlier this year in Madrid. The winner of OT17 still understands her power as a female artist in the industry and explores new ways of creating to generate songs that align with the youth. Some songs from “Pero No Pasa Nada” and “Cuando No Sé Quién Soy” are going to sound refreshing, thanks to new musical arrangements for this new era and show.
Under the heat in the fields of Castile, Carolina Durante are presenting their «Elige tu Propia Aventura» tour that we expect to be one of the most joyful experiences in the festival, bringing their honest, irreverent, self-aware, and increasingly reflective catalog to Aranda de Duero. On the other hand, we could find vibrant performances by Gara Durán and Soge Culebra. Sanguijuelas del Guadiana would present “Revolá”, their latest LP, a heartfelt snapshot of rural life delivered through a genre-defying sound palette. Afterwards, Alizzz is presenting the “CARRETERA Y MANTA” Tour, where we are going to vibe to his fusion of electronic textures with pop and urban music through emotional and personal lyricism; while iñigo quintero is making one of the few stops in the country to present his emotional piano-driven live show after his break-through song “Si No Estás”.
We cannot wait to enjoy a festival committed to culture, solidarity and a diverse lineup that blends established headliners with emerging talent from all Spanish genres. A broad program that goes beyond music, giving the opportunity to the public to discover wine culture with local gastronomy. Aranda de Duero, see you soon!
